Established in 1973, J. H Botts, Inc. is a valuable source to various industries. Our new (51,000 sq ft) manufacturing facility in Joliet, Illinois was built in 1995.

As specialists in the manufacturing of threaded materials, we inventory ½" to 3" diameter round bars in 20'-0" to 40'-0" lengths. Our ability to identify grades of material and meet the requirements of the American Society of Testing Materials (A.S.T.M.), along with our guarantee to produce within the tolerances prescribed by the American National Standards Institute (A.N.S.I.), make us a valuable asset to our customers.

Getting the correct material is only half of the battle our customers face. Having the material delivered on time is another significant challenge. We stock a majority of the standard size bolts used in the roadway lighting industry, along with bolts from the traffic signal and sign structure industries. We will also custom manufacture to our clients' specific needs.

In addition to threaded products, we manufacture various structural steel items for our customers. These items include Helix Foundations, Grates for Concrete Flared End Sections, and Aluminum Floor Drains. We have some items in stock throughout the year, available for immediate delivery.

As members of The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) and Industrial Fasteners Institute (IFI), we are an approved manufacturer in Illinois, Missouri, and Pennsylvania (Bulletin 15). We also supply product to many other states including, but not limited to, Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
